ABSC Annual Gala Dinner 2026 – Strengthening Global Connections
Tonight, the Australian Business Summit Council (ABSC) Annual Gala Dinner brought together an exceptional cross-section of the diplomatic and business community in Sydney.
Hosted by Dr Frank Alafaci, the evening welcomed senior diplomats, including ambassadors, high commissioners, chargé d’affaires, consuls-general and consuls from across the globe, alongside business leaders, bankers, academics, and professionals. The scale and diversity of representation reinforced the unique role the ABSC plays in fostering international engagement within Australia.
The event featured keynote insights from Mr. Taylor Nugent, Senior Economist at National Australia Bank, providing valuable perspectives on the global economic outlook—timely given the breadth of nations represented in the room.
From Bosnia and Herzegovina’s perspective, the evening was a valuable opportunity to continue strengthening relationships across diplomatic and commercial networks. Representation through the Bosnia and Herzegovina Consulate, alongside engagement from the Australian–Bosnia and Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce, ensured continued visibility and connection with key stakeholders.
Beyond the formal program, the evening was defined by meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas—an important reminder that long-term economic partnerships are ultimately built through relationships.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr Frank Alafaci and the ABSC for hosting such an important gathering and creating a platform that continues to bring together global perspectives in Australia.
