ABHCC Chair meets with BiH stakeholders

Strengthening Economic Ties between Australia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
During a recent visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Haris Jackman, ABHCC Chair met with Bosnian and Herzegovinian Officials, business groups and leaders and was delighted to hear of the strong desire for bilateral trade opportunities and cultural exchange with Australia.
Key themes from the discussions:
1. Strong support available from BiH agencies. NGO's and private sector organisations to interested Australian businesses
The ability to successfully navigate new markets is crucial. A number of BiH organisations with a track record of success are ready and able to provide guidance to Australian businesses and investors.
2. Changing patterns in global trade means Australia is becoming an enticing market for BiH companies
BiH business are growing and looking to enter new markets. There exists a strong desire to provide goods and services to Australians, and to further strengthen cultural ties between two great nations.
3. Hottest industries

Metal and electrical (incl. bespoke manufacturing and electrical cabling and components that support green energy transition)
Mining and associated industries
Timber and high-end furniture products
